Our Talk: Why Brands Can’t Afford To Neglect Multicultural Marketing

Multicultural marketing is a well-developed proposition that many companies are yet to adopt. It is an area of marketing that we specialise in and we are very much looking forward to sharing some of our expertise during our talk: Why Brands Can’t Afford to Neglect Multicultural Marketing.

Our Managing Director, Tomasz Dyl, will be outlining the significant opportunity that multicultural marketing presents for brands both large and small. In the UK alone there are more than 9 million people from an ethnic minority and these communities are growing as they account for 80% of population growth. This significant market is also underserved with two-thirds of people from ethnic minorities finding UK media less relevant to them.

Reaching multicultural communities requires much more than a mass marketing approach as it will not take account of cultural nuances or the characteristics of each ethnic minority. During our talk, we will be providing exclusive insights from research that we have undertaken into the attitudes and preferences of consumers from ethnic minorities. This will help brands to learn about proven best practice marketing strategies.

During our talk, we are going to be joined by one of our clients, digital wallet brand Skrill. Skrill will be sharing their approach to multicultural marketing including the strategies and channels that they use in their campaigns. Gaining direct insights from the marketing team of an established financial services brand is in itself a unique opportunity that should not be missed by brands that are looking to reach ethnic minorities.
