The objective of our campaign with Megaron was to support with the promotion of products throughout B&Q stores within the UK. B&Q are an incredibly demanding retailer, and it is highly competitive to get on their selves and also then stay there. We were looking to support Megaron’s product launch in 20 B&Q stores within the M25 corridor throughout their launch month.
The campaign saw us place 20 Brand Ambassador working “full-time” throughout the month. The Brand Ambassadors were fully trained by Megaron to help them understand the product offering, how best to sell the product and how to report on the interactions they had received from customers. Once in the stores our Brand Ambassadors, as well as promotion Megaron’s products became the people delivering training. They worked to train B&Q staff on the products and how to sell the products to trade and end customers.
As part of the campaign our Brand Ambassadors were also tasked to feedback to the client about their interactions for the day as well as managing stock within their store. Within this campaign we also created uniform for the brand ambassadors to where as well as educational marketing materials.
During the month of promotion we saw great engagement from customers within the B&Q stores and engaged with over 8,000 people. Selling over 400 tubs of SMIG and almost 300 bags of Gypsum-Polymer Plaster Professional. We also trained over 200 B&Q staff meaning that the Megaron brand could continue to be sold in the correct way without our Brand Ambassadors being present.

We called upon GottaBe! to support Megaron with the in-store promotion of two products after our initial launch into the UK. The GottaBe! team took care of recruitment and training of Brand Ambassadors, merchandising and print, plus managed the relationship between Megaron and B&Q. Overall, we are very pleased with the work they provide.
