Hampshire Constabulary

Hampshire Constabulary is the territorial police force responsible for policing the Hampshire and Isle of Wight areas. The force areas include Southampton, the South East’s largest city, Portsmouth, the New Forest National Park, Basingstoke and the historic city of Winchester. Hampshire Constabulary is one of the biggest forces in the country covering 1,500 square miles they are committed to delivering safer communities across the area. We have recently started working with Hampshire Constabulary focusing on supporting their BAME recruitment drive, raising awareness with this audience as well as raising awareness for vaccinations.

This campaign saw us utilising integrated marketing campaigns such as radio interviews and display advertising on ethnic news portals to help target and raise awareness for the recruitment drive by Hampshire Constabulary. We also further utilised digital channels through a series of Facebook Live video interviews about the force and their vacancies. This was further supported by editorial content in a number of publications.

Through our campaigns for the recruitment drive we also utilised face-to-face events such as the forces Family Fun Day as well as workshops for potential applicants to learn more about the force and allow them to ask any questions they may have directly to the force in order to overcome barriers.

Along with the above we have worked with our inhouse art working team to produce artwork and promotional materials that Hampshire Constabulary can continue to follow on from this campaign.

Our campaigns with Hampshire Constabulary successfully achieved their goal of increasing the awareness of the force amongst ethnic minorities in Hampshire and the Isle of White and continue to allow Hampshire Constabulary to build strong relationships within the local community.

We are continuing to support the BAME community to apply for current position at Hampshire Constabulary.
